A Markov-powered mashup of Erowid trip reports and tech recruiter emails. Run by @aphyr, who's not affiliated with Erowid. Heck, he's never even smoked pot.
lmao they responded to my "your email verification system is broken and won't send email so I can't follow the recovery process" support request by telling me that I'm... going to stay suspended
coooooool
Still locked out of Twitter. They're still insisting I verify my email, but won't send the recovery/confirmation email to any address I provide, including random gmail ones.
I mean I know I'm not coming back to this hellsite, but at least let me tell my friends where I've gone.
Tl;dr, I think if we want queer spaces going forward, we're gonna have to own them ourselves. I'm putting my money where my mouth is, and hosting woof.group as a Mastodon instance for anyone who wants that space too.
I'll talk about this more later, but I've been reading a lot of Patrick Califia's writing on censorship of queer writing during the 80s and 90s, and I'm starting to think that our expression on platforms like Tumblr, Instagram, and Twitter just... isn't viable in the long run.
Hi folks, @aphyr here. As far as I can tell, my account is locked in some kind of unfixable hellhole because I had a butt in my profile. Can't get them to send a recovery email to any email address.
If anyone needs me, I'll be at woof.group/@aphyr.
Hi Esten, I understand that you were working on some of the top 10 tech brains in LA, both having achieved $Billion exits from their eyes, exploding and bursting into flame
