I was recruited to OpenAI in 2019 to work as an engineer directly on alignment. @geoffreyirving hired me to that team.
Over my four years at OpenAI since that moment, @sama and @gdb have earned my trust, over and over and over again. They have my respect as leaders.

I’ve taken this lesson into the rest of my career. I think the OpenAI leadership does a very good job navigating the challenges of running a large and diverse organization, and that they exemplify the virtue of listening to all perspectives and choosing the right path forward.

I feel safe expressing myself to leadership. I love this place, and I love how open my colleagues are willing to be with each other.
